Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades (Power)

King of the Gods, Zeus is mainly portrayed as the most powerful of the Gods and Goddesses. He lives atop Mount Olympus and sports a lightning bolt – used as a weapon and a symbol of his temper. Zeus’ brothers, Poseidon and Hades, are also powerful rulers of other domains (sea and the underworld) and to represent overarching power, I have created a set of 3 brooches – each representing the powerful brothers – that connect into a larger neckpiece.All aspects of this work are handmade. Modelled on Christina van Putten.
