Sessions in Grief is a film about the acceptance of a new identity and self, and the grieving of ones past.

“"Sessions in Grief" is a love letter to my past self, a version of me just getting the courage to step away from the path set up ahead of them. When I first let go of the version of myself that I had always felt the need to be, in favour of who I actually was, I was absolutely terrified of what that meant. I channeled a lot of my learning through this character, Ruthie. As she unpacks what it means to let go, and grieve her past self, we as an audience get to grow with her. It's a beautiful trial and error experience that I can only be grateful to have made it to the other side of.Sometimes all you need is a change of perspective...”
