Here's To Getting Better

Here’s To Getting Better is an upcoming short film about Mochi - a recently fired socially awkward 25 year old - dealing with the isolation that comes with a mental health decline, supported exclusively and wholeheartedly by their loving dog Miso.

“This project came out of a period of significant isolation and loneliness. Having dealt with my fair share of mental health battles, chronic pain and difficulty reading social cues, I've been able to find solace in my dog in my lowest moments. This story is about that relationship, and how different it can be from person-to-person dynamics, especially for somebody struggling to get out of bed and do the bare minimum on a day to day basis. This story is for every other neurodiverse kid with social anxiety, who found friendship and acceptance in a loving pet when no person had any to share.”
