Inside Joke

Inside Joke is two paintings depicting two figures whispering as an interpretation of inner monologue.

“Inside Joke is about the inner monolog, a silent conversation with myself, the non-stopped voice lingering inside my mind. For me, an inner monolog is essential. I like being alone and lost in my thoughts, having that conversation with my inner monolog. It is calm and inspirational for me. In the duo paintings, I interpret inner monolog as an inside joke. Private, implicit, and intimate. It is like having myself whispering to me, or vice visa. ”
