2022
Born into a Ukrainian-Kazakh family, this project holds a special place in my heart. Grateful for the chance to create something meaningful through the storytelling course.Outline: The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), also known as the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people. This radio ad is aimed at raising awareness and funds to fuel the organization’s efforts to rescue people from Ukraine.Art direction: The tone of interviewees’ voices conveys a sense of urgency to showcase that help is desperately needed. The voices of Ukrainians will lead listeners on an emotional journey in order to influence viewers to become sponsors.Client: UNHCR Canada.Team: Alina Danilyuk, Jonathan Shea-Carter and Syed Hussain.
