The studio holds the residue of the artist’s thoughts and dreams—a space where the abstract crosses into the tangible through acts of fabrication, experimentation, and reflection. It is here, amid the silent unfolding of processes, that exterior interactions are absorbed, transformed, and distilled. With Omnipresence, I sought to invert the traditional roles of classroom and gallery, recasting them as extensions of the artist’s studio—fragments of the artist’s mind made spatial. My inquiry centers on how individuals occupy space, and how perception, shaped by personal experience, renders the world uniquely visible to each of us.Everything within the room exists in a suspended state of becoming, an accumulation of gestures reaching toward a fuller understanding of the subject. As I reflect on the time spent with this work, there lingers an uncanny sense of absence, as if something essential has shifted or moved beyond—like the quiet shedding of a second skin.
“This body of work was developed during an independent study. While each piece shown in the walkthrough represents a distinct form of studio practice, they are intended to be viewed as parts of a singular, unified entity.”
