The Generation Before Me

"The Generation Before Me" is a series of portraits exploring the women in the artists' life and their upbringings. Some portraits are presented together to show unity and support while others are solo, representing individual growth and choice. The artwork aims to inspire young women to prioritize self-care and promote open conversation around women's health.

“The Generation Before Me is a photographic collection that delves into the lives of the influential women in my life. Each portrait captures their unique upbringings, individuality, and familial bond, highlighting their resilience in navigating life's challenges independently. This artistic endeavor aims to encourage young women to prioritize their well-being, educate themselves, and shatter the silence around often-taboo subjects such as puberty, sexuality, and mental health. The series ultimately celebrates the power of future generations to uplift and enlighten each other in the realm of women's health.”
