Sysphean Time

Burdens.Like Sisyphus rolling his rock up his hill, I carry my weight with me, until I can’t. It is tragic, it is humorous, it is naive, it is courageous. The more I know my weight, the more it honours me.Labour.I labour through time with my personal burdens, but I also labour through time with collective ones. Output, productivity, profit, keeping up. I must keep up to the ever-increasing pace and demands of modern society. Who am I labouring for?Rhythm.Objective time is impartial to my biological time, my biological rhythm slows as I age while the objective time around me stays the same. My time eventually ceases to be synchronous with the time around me I can’t help but wonder, was my time ever synchronous with an objective time?
