Hello and Welcome to my Jury Reel. These works are created for my fourth and final year of classes here at OCAD. Enjoy! Note: The first two pieces in this reel are just excerpts, you can find all the works in full length under my collection called "Complete Works".1. Absence (2024) is an Experimental Documentary about Personal Experiences with Absent-Mindedness. This 5-minute documentary is installed in a 5.1 Surround System at OCAD University in Room 354 (Audio Lab) for GradEx 109. All sound and video in this work is original. I used After Effects to create the visual effects, Premiere Pro to edit, and Logic to create the music.2. The Sound Design for Annihilation (2018) was my final submission for this semester's Sound Design course. Taking advantage of the Alchemy Synthesizer in Logic Pro, I experimented with different synths, instruments, MIDI choruses and vocal manipulation.3. 'Strings of Melancholy' (2024) is created to emphasize longing and desolation in the form of audio. I created this piece using MIDI instruments including Violin, Erhu and Synth Pads in Logic Pro X. This piece showcased the beauty of the strings section and its ability to glide from one note to the next.

““To create, first, we must endure. To endure, first, we must be human.” I create art to highlight personal experiences, issues and flaws, whether through the visual abstraction of absent-mindedness or the emotional and experiential qualities that sound radiates. As I continue to develop a love for blending video and sound, conveying this fusion of emotions to the audience, and ultimately sharing my amalgamated perception of life, is truly a blessing.”
