A short documentary tributing to the power of family, and the strength that arises from the bonds of love that stem from a step-parent, and how their love can impact the lives of their step-children.

“Based in Toronto, Ontario, a shy young girl has her whole world rocked from the separation of her parents. Navigating through loneliness, chaos, and a whole new family, she finds herself lost in a world feeling like she doesn't belong. As time passes, we witness the product of a broken home. All hope is not lost for there is mending and healing from traumatic experiences and loss involved. But who mends these wounds? Who steps up to the plate?The shy little girl no longer becomes afraid to share her thoughts and feelings based on her experiences being a stepchild. Alongside many others who choose to participate in redefining what it means to be a step parent, and their role in a child's life. ”
