Heavy Head

In this painting, I explored different painting techniques to explore ideas of domesticity and passive depletion. The expression is one of accepted exhaustion, but not one of active resistance. Utilizing methods such as dry brushing, contrasted with thicker paint applications and areas of negative, white space, I blend differing elements to orchestrate a sense of harmony.
