Attack and Defence

Attack and Defence is a series that records the spread of the coronavirus and the defence of the white cells in the respiratory tract.

“In these pieces, I depict the virus entering the body through the nose and mouth. The first part resembles a parasitic flower, alive and able to spread through the air, but also branching out across to eventually consume the body. The second part represents the other flower, white cells, carefully approaching and devouring the virus.”
