01 For Jurying Consideration - The Second Wind

There are more than 15 abandoned lighthouses on Lake Ontario (Canadian side), which were once an important tool for water transportation, but have been replaced with advanced technology. As a result, lighthouse keepers and other related personnel have lost their jobs and lighthouses have become "waste" landmarks on land. I think lighthouses should not be so abandoned and gradually forgotten by people.The Barge is a carrier for shipping by water and also has a good carrying capacity. My design brings the multifunctional theater to the lake, and through the design of the Barge, it will function as both an outdoor cinema and a theater. And the lighthouse will serve as the main light source for the stage performance and the movie. The lighthouse will be used as the main light source for the stage and the film, thus bringing different performing groups to tour around the lighthouse to bring the abandoned lighthouse back into use and give new hope to the unemployed people involved. “How will this project achieve its goal?- The lighthouse will serve as the main light source for the performance and the projector for the film.- The barge will lead different groups of performers to perform at the site chosen to have the lighthouse.- People will bring their own seats or use the chairs stored on the barge to watch the performance on land.”
