Scale Earring

“When we hear the voices or opinions of others and consider whether they have merit, it is common to feel confused or hesitant. Questioning our own judgment is accompanied by a great concern about what others think. Our thoughts sway from side to side, like a scale that is constantly trying to maintain balance. Think of the display in the center of the scale as our brain, representing our thoughts. The plates on either side serve as earrings, worn left and right on each ear to maintain balance, just like hanging from the balance display.”
