An Ode To My Friends

Photography
2021
I had been screenshotting the polls I’ve answered on the We’re Not Really Strangers Instagram for a few months when this series was made. Pairing these screenshots with images from my archive I’ve created "An Ode to my Friends".

“I had been screenshotting the polls I’ve answered on the We’re Not Really Strangers Instagram for a few months when this series was made. Pairing these screenshots with images from my archive I’ve created "An Ode to my Friends". My group of friends has always been important to me, I absolutely adore them, even if they are no longer in my life. These archival images used are from adventures I have had with my friends, pretty much all pre-covid, and were what the polls reminded me of. These polls were actually a great way to stay in touch with a lot of them to, as if the poll talks about a specific person it often says “send this to them”. An Ode to my Friends is exactly as the title says, and it is my way to celebrate the friendships in my life. ”
