“A planet, used up, not valuable, desolate, has caused its previous rulers to move on into a new world, cyberspace. The earth is no longer the home for humans. The ability to avoid the struggles of life, and have better control of their realities was too enticing to refuse. It is safe to say that humans will never return to their first home. This piece 'Dys-Utopia' is an addition to my previous artwork titled ‘Assimilated’. After the disappearance of humans. Non-Humans got more opportunities to thrive. Using the materials that were left behind, bacteria and archaea flourished. Their evolution had provided benefits for the earth, reversing the destructive effects. Making the earth more habitable for other forms of life that they share the planet with.'Dys-Utopia' is a silent, digital animated collage that requires the audience's attention, so they can speculate about the future and reflect on how we are treating our current home.”
