“About the project:Inspired by a foresight thinking workshop, the Future Sounds project was conceived as a forward-looking exploration into the evolving needs of the music industry. This project was centered around the engineering of a prototype for a new MIDI music instrument, leveraging cutting-edge 3D printing and physical computing techniques. The initiative aimed to transcend traditional music creation boundaries, fostering a new realm of musical expression and functionality.Project results:The Future Sounds project culminated in the creation of a prototype that addresses future trends in music production and performance. My role involved conceptualizing the design, overseeing the integration of physical computing components, and implementing 3D printing methods to bring this innovative instrument to life.”
