Solis and Luna Carousel of Shadows

A circus show including original characters Solis and Luna.

“Solis and Luna Carousel of Shadows combines the tactile texture of acrylic paint with digital painting. Merging these two mediums to create a haunting and unforgettable image of conjoined twins Solis and Luna, which has been printed onto a high-quality canvas. The twins are portrayed within an unsettling and disorienting circus-like atmosphere that is enhanced by the inclusion of the top part of a carousel that hovers above them. These components work in tandem to create a sense of unease and confusion within the viewer. Furthermore, the twins are situated as part of a creepy circus show, with spectral figures haunting the background. These ghost-like figures serve as the performance audience and heighten the eerie and unsettling tone of the painting.”
