The Door

I made an abstract door by collecting discarded pieces of wood from the wood shop. Each piece contains its own memory like many doors I or people touched.

“It is a work of collecting discarded wood pieces containing different memories and recreating them as my own objects. Wooden pieces were collected from the school's wood shop. Through this work, I collect the past by rebuilding, building, and pasting debris. The longing for the shape of a house due to frequent moving as a child is expressed through doors that cannot be opened.”
