Shifting Tide

This work places emphasis on dynamic movement and use of colour through alla prima mixing with a palette knife. Additionally, line and form are used to complement the space and express direction of the abstract tides. The piece is an overall result from intuition and automatic painting, experimenting with drawing and mixing techniques. Thus the painting exhibits the artist's search for peace within the process of creating through difficult waves.
