My artistic practice is rooted in discovery through material exploration. Embracing the material uncertainty of ink, new paths are revealed.
“My ink artwork is grounded in a highly experimental process, which I find takes a great deal of courage. I more or less work within a "state of being" rather than with a final image in mind, which can be daunting. 98% of the work I make doesn't turn out. The true value in this process for me lies in learning to embrace discomfort and take risks, both in my art and in life.”
