'Authentic you’ is a psychological card game that discusses the ‘attractive advantage’ of pretty privilege. Through discussion and playing cards, players begin to discuss different perspectives of the concept and discover their true-self.

“My concept was inspired by the “We’re Not Really Strangers’ card game. Focusing on the audience general public, I wish to help my audiences better understand how ”pretty privilege” impacts our perceptions of what we see and how we relate to the image of the person rather than the temperament/ disposition of the person. In other words, what we see on the surface makes a greater immediate impression, rather than taking time to hear and speak to the individuals in question. This game teaches individuals to accept their physical attributes and insecurities, and prevents them from pursuing a false sense of being visually attractive according to the perceptions of fashion media and influencers who think they are the authorities of what qualifies as being beautiful. Also letting individuals accept their true-self and learn to be authenticity.”
