Don't Sleep on the Subway

Synopsis: A sleep-deprived artist struggles to stay awake on their mundane subway commute. “My primary role in this project was Environment Artist, taking the concept art from the animatic and creating a 3D environment to be used as the background for the finished film. The textures were hand painted as to make them match more seamlessly with the 2D character animation.I also worked on the water environment portions. We developed the visual style of the water and ultimately decided to use puppet animation. I then created the 2D assets that were animated for the water, as well as 3D fish and 2D ripple effects to be added to the water animation.”
