01 For Jurying Consideration

Memory. Land. Home. Three ideas starting the foundation of my art practice journey. Having the essence of land and time, from the land of the past to the land of the present, I had a desire and unexplainable interest to focus on landscapes and memories that tie into the land of India. This body of work encompasses my practice expanding in research of the idea of "recapturing memory" through mediums of ink, henna, and wood that interconnect the ideas of land and memory.
