Visceral Series

This body of work was driven by materials exploration and allusions to the body. I wanted to make paintings without paint, incorporating elements of craft, textiles, and non-traditional materials. I continued to push abstraction with the juxtaposition of materials to create visual appeal, but with a sense of unease.
