Material Art and Design - Jewelry and Plastic
“The works that I made are unisex, which suits everyone who prefers and appreciates minimalistic jewelry. Who prefer wearing jewelry simply and casually. People who likes this aesthetic, and the style where both decorative and technical aspect is applied to the work. Most of my works consist of gem setting and riveting. Some of my sculptures also suit people who desire to collect small minimalistic decorative objects (that are produced in a limited amount) to display in their space. ”

Hi, I am a fourth year jewelry student at OCAD University. My works explore and consist of the aesthetic of minimalism, the sense of movement, and the combination of metal and acrylic/plastic. Many of my works are assembled by cold joints such as rivets and interact with myself and the viewers. In my practice and design process, the element of movement is what I value and consider the most. I believe that movement adds a playful and intriguing aspect to my works, and it also aids in developing an interactive element to the jewelry or decorative sculptures that I am making. Through the interactions of people and jewelry, the relationship between them can be studied, explored, and further invented by me.
