“I’m Minseo Nam, a recent graduate in Environmental Design: Interior Design from OCAD University, driven by a passion for designing inclusive, sustainable spaces that foster deeper connections between people and nature. My thesis project, Learnscape, reimagines a traditional elementary school as a nature-integrated learning environment in downtown Toronto—highlighting my interest in educational design, environmental psychology, and urban sustainability.Through my internship at A77, a Toronto-based design start-up, I collaborated on an eco-village development project, gaining hands-on experience in research, concept development, and team coordination. I’m proficient in digital tools like SketchUp, Rhino, and AutoCAD, and I enjoy translating abstract ideas into tangible, human-centered solutions. Now stepping into the professional world, I’m eager to contribute to design studios and organizations that value ecological thinking, innovation, and social impact.”

I’m a recent graduate from OCAD University with a degree in Environmental Design: Interior Design. I focus on creating sustainable and inclusive spaces that connect people—especially children—with nature, which I explored through my thesis project Learnscape. During my internship at the Toronto-based firm A77, I developed strong research skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset that I carry into every project.
