“This accumulative series of drawings, paintings, and performance encased in a rural barn, acts as a physical platform for personable associations to materialize. The installation is a malleable safe space capable of divulging narratives through the precarity of embodiment. The character of the 'doll' exists as a precarious persona framed with the transitional objects to extrapolate the thematics in childhood vulnerability. These objects ground the subject(doll) in the space to expose and transcend previously internalized apprehensions through the act of play and phantasm. ”
