Would it be so bad if you abandoned your human body? My Heart is a Motherboard delves into the relationship between human/machine and flesh/metal as a way to explore extreme body dysmorphia and the under-the-skin mania of wanting to escape flesh. I explore a world where I can modify any part of myself that I loathe or abandon my body for a metal husk - like a deserted car at the scrap yard - where my mind would finally feel at peace. Through my work, I aim to draw connections from the human body and their similarities to machinery as a complex way to highlight my struggles with body acceptance and self-hatred. ”
