“I explore ideas of connection, distance, and the everyday moments that shape how we understand home. Visually interpreting memories that feel both close and far, familiar and new. Inspired by memory, distance and the feeling of being caught between places, my work is about finding pieces of home in unexpected. ”
Catalina is a Chilean artist based in Toronto. She works across traditional and digital media. While primarily focused on oil painting, she continues to expand her practice, drawing inspiration from everyday experiences. Since 2018, her digital work has been centered on illustration and visual development for animation.
