Louis Corneil is an illustrator, animator, writer, based in Toronto, Canada but originally from Norway. He grew up on an old Norwegian farm by the coast, ​his art therefore specializes in climate and environment, and its importance in his upbringing, especially in light of environmental degradation. He has a BFA in Drawing/Painting and Expanded Animation with a minor in Printmaking at OCADU with an ongoing second degree in English Literature at Trent University. His animation screenings include 7 AM at TIFF (2024) and Blind at Alliance Française (2023). In 2018, his film Exam Situations won the Best Narrative Award at the Kosmoliten International Film Festival in Trondheim, Norway. His zine collection, Security Blanket, was sold at TCAF in Toronto in 2024.
