Megumi “Moog” Takebayashi Tomas, more well known as Moogwoog, is a multidisciplinary artist making illustrations and producing animations. Moog is currently studying in Experimental Animation in OCADU, due to graduate in Spring of 2024, and is currently a producer for the animation, "Don't Sleep on the Subway".As a freelance illustrator, her work is about expressing the raw anxieties of being alive and all things organic. Influenced by horror manga artists like Junji Ito and Nagabe, as well as the fascinating work of Ernst Haeckel, her creations reflect the fears we all face as living beings. It is really all about sharing a bit of herself in her art, finding new ways to create, and connect with people who resonate with it.Moog operates a small business selling apparel with her original designs printed on them. T-shirts, hoodies, and soon pants. From fabric to skin, she is also an upcoming tattoo artist.
