Jewel Pavao (she/her) is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer based in Toronto, ON. She is a graduating Advertising and Illustration student, and will be continuing her studies at OCAD University later this fall in the Interdisciplinary Master’s in Art, Media, and Design program. Her aim is to utilize design as a communication tool: to create visually uplifting work that is conceptually and socially impactful. From a Filipino and intersectional feminist perspective, she strives to promote broader, optimistic dialogue towards addressing solutions to societal issues.
