Utopia is a tabletop board game dedicated to addressing the injustices of Toronto's housing crisis. With a seemingly satirical tone, Utopia channels cynicism into change. Inspired by The Landlord's Game by feminist entrepreneur Elizabeth Magie, the game utilizes two methods of play to achieve three goals. To educate residents about the state of the housing crisis within the city, to compile applicable resources for finding and securing housing, and to supply the means to create change.
