“How do we regard the aging fem(ale*)?This question permeates every crevice of my research surrounding aging women* and how we, as a culture, collectively perceive and respond to them. Through the documentation of visual and textual evidence of this phenomenon, my work presents as several pieces that contextualize the fem(ale)* anxiety around aging within both the personal and the commercial. Mosaics of an Aging Woman aims to instigate a collective reflection on the ways aging as anxiety is manifested through personal and consumerist means. How do you truly regard an aging woman*? * fem(ale)/women includes cis, afab trans, non-binary, agender/gender-nonconforming, and gender-variant people who relate to the experience. ”

Hi! I’m N’Dasa (pronounced en-day-sah) Todd, a GTA-based graphic designer interested in archives and publications. Being interested in visualizing archival data, a lot of my design collects instances of culture, identity, and memories, culminating in physical pieces that provide evidence of being. It is a goal of mine as a designer to immortalize the people and environments around me just as they exist, no matter how ordinary or extraordinary.
