“The concepts of death and the soul, as well as the afterlife, often evoke feelings of darkness and weightiness within us. Saying farewell to our loved ones, whether they are family members, friends, or romantic partners, can be accompanied by an indescribable sense of sadness. How can we navigate life after their departure? How can we address the emotions that arise from that loss?My thesis work, "Until We See Again," explores events and festivals that honour death across ten distinct cultures. In my work, I imagined images of ancestors and departed spirits being part of these events with my own artistic style. ”
