Design for Health
“As a former patient navigating the healthcare system, I know that current experiences are suboptimal and that patients and caregivers are not always invited to engage in transformational change. My goal is to leverage patient, caregiver and provider expertise through a design thinking lens, to enhance wellbeing across journeys of care. Let's work together to improve our healthcare system. ”

Nita Lakhani is a pharmacist with 15+ years experience in hospital, community, virtual care and cancer care. In 2017, she was accepted into OCAD's Design for Health Masters (part-time) program with no prior design knowledge. She brings patient and provider healthcare expertise, skills in qualitative research, project management, and user experience design to multi-disciplinary teams.
