“One day I picked up a copy of an anime film titled 'Tekkonkinkreet' out of a box of discounted DVD's. I was amazed by the backgrounds and this influenced me to depict my own surroundings beautifully. ”
Yemin Sim is an artist who focuses on depicting the mundane through simplistic works. She enjoys dabbling in various art forms and mediums such as fine art, comics, illustration, ink, and watercolour. Her inspirations are the media she consumes and the world around her.
