The observations and musings of my cat's habits led to the birth of these whimsical pieces. The works drew inspiration from an exhibition called "I AM HERE: Home Movies and Everyday Masterpieces" hosted by the AGO. A recording from the early 20th century showed a cat pawing at the face of a child who was holding it. This was an endearing reminder that the child and I share the same love and affection for cats despite being separated by decades.
