“I create dreamlike digital worlds that explore the strange harmony between human instinct and digital systems. Shaped by intuition, observation, and my subconscious experience of the real world, my work aims to express the feeling of contemporary life. My practice is about discovery, not direction, inviting the viewer to slow down, look closer, and find unexpected meaning in strange, beautiful spaces.”

Jeff Norman is a Toronto-based contemporary artist working with a variety of 2D and 3D digital media and software. His interest in art is centered on the transformative and alchemical power of images, stories, and symbols. Before starting his career as an artist, Jeff worked full-time in the automotive finance industry. He is set to graduate with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Experimental Animation at OCAD University. He has contributed to the presentation of artworks at Empowerment Squared in Hamilton Ontario and at Vusawthis.art (now AMPLi5), as well as contributing to Expanded Visions exhibition at Illuminarium Toronto, 2024. He has also contributed to screen-to-space installation projects and collaborative animation projects with friends and faculty at OCAD.
