“"The Wishes" depicts a series of illustrations from traditional Chinese culture in which people symbolize things (animals, plants, objects) as a trust for happiness and give them good expectations based on folk myths and characteristics. These illustrations, which are given meanings, allow us to understand how people's good wishes are presented in different cultures and contexts in various stages of life, work, study, etc. These good wishes represent the positive attitude of individuals motivated to strive to be a better version of their lives.”

Hi! I'm Ke, an illustrator and designer. I am committed to living and studying in different cultures that bring me more emotions, curiosity and experimentation with new things, as well as to observing things by using both digital media and traditional techniques to tell stories, create characters, layouts, illustrations and more. My art is inspired by my emotions, life, family and upbringing, but more than that, I hope that my work resonates visually with the viewer and establishes some points of commonality or difference.Welcome to view my work!
