Dwelling Stains I

The first creation of Dwelling Stains. Henna in this process, became a sort of overlapping landscape in its own form, creating its own space and dimension with the wood. Along with the use of henna, I incorporated mini elemental ink drawings among the henna designs. Pointing to the theme of home and land, these key elements are represented as flashbacks of the past; key memories and elements of what made India home and the nostalgic significance of the land.
