“The alternate worlds that appear in the dream sequences are a reflection of the person dreaming. Dreams tap into the subconscious of our everyday experiences and as artists we can find inspiration in the mundane. These shots were created to focus on the kind of style that would represent the present character. Images 1 - 6 lean towards structural art styles for the businessman. Art Movements that emphasize uniformed geometric forms, dynamic arrangements of overlapping planes, clear visual shape language but also fractured images, primary colours to represent the orderly working environment and their cognitive states that the character may experience.Similarly, Images 7 - 9 are brief flashes of the Main character's pen before they enter into their dream world. The styles take on a more intensive abstract art style with comic book influences to represent the character's artistic inclination of seeing the world as vibrant, messy and expressive. ”
