Sunset Walk

Sunset Walk is a series of projections with interactive elements, allowing viewers to manipulate certain elements of different scenery. Physical buttons and knobs allow the audience to have a more hands-on and immersive experience. This project serves as an opportunity for anime fans and even just the general public to wander through and explore the beauty of some favourite anime classics.

“When creating my interactive prototype in TouchDesigner, I decided to create my own sunset animation using Blender as a starting point for the "Sunset Walk" project. I wanted to capture different iconic elements of anime sunset scenery such as calm ocean waves, glimmering stars and a glowing sun. Elements that can be physically manipulated by the user include; a potentiometer (transition of scenery), button 1 (play/pause music), and button 2 (video filter).”
