Storytime (In Flux)

This interactive piece invites the viewer to assume the role of an archivist, reconstructing the ambiguous narrative and attempting to make sense of a puzzle with no definitive solution.

“Storytime (In Flux) consists of five wooden blocks; the imagery is a hastily curated selection of photocopied childhood archives, quickly assembled through cutting, pasting, and graphite transfer. This interactive piece invites the viewer to assume the role of an archivist, reconstructing the ambiguous narrative and attempting to make sense of a puzzle with no definitive solution. The ever-deconstructed order mimicking the blur of childhood. By taking control over the narratives through alteration in the works installation, the viewer experiences a direct insight into, and engagement with, my studio processes.”
