A complete process book to designing a visual identity for Fleeting Colours through a variety of research methods and productions.

“Predominantly focusing on associations between musical characteristics and the formal qualities of art and design, much of my process was inspired by the Bouba and Kiki experiments. Associations among elements such as form, sound, colour and tone, based on inter-sensory connections fuelled the design behind my productions. Unlike a synaesthetic approach to visualising sound I used an associative method which is far less subjective and can be accepted by most individuals. The result is a cohesive, yet dynamic array of design material directly inspired by Fleeting Colours music which comes together to form an identity.”
