In Search Of: The Invisible

This video essay, "Stitching the Invisible" examines the deeper harm of the damsel-in-distress archetype, revealing how this outdated trope continues to shape perceptions of real-life victims through the lens of the 'ideal victim.' It also documents Francine's process of cross-stitching a portrait of Kevin Lim, a missing person, and how this act deepened her understanding of the modern-day damsel.
