Chalk Pastels and Charcoal on Paper
Inspired by the song "La Llorona" as performed by Alanna Ubach and Antonio Sol from Disney and Pixar's film, Coco. This piece was developed by listening to the music multiple times and feeling the gestures with my body as I drew. I learned from this piece how emotions (energy in motion), at first can be reactive and great, and how with readdressing, that moment can be different, it can change and often the expressions are more subtle.
