Me-mo is a light, portable reminder that attaches to your laptop, helping you stay on track with self-care activities. After completing a few tasks, it signals a cue to take a break, promoting well-being during busy routines. Instead of crossing off tasks, it uses a joyful movement to indicate when they are done. How to use:1. Choose a self-care activity2. Begin your work task3. Insert or move a sun chip to track your progress4. Enjoy your me-momentInsight: Young professionals often sacrifice their well-being for productivity, struggling to take breaks or care for themselves—especially in small, shared living or workspaces. While digital reminders are common, they are often ignored or become part of the problem, adding to screen fatigue and creating distractions that pull attention away from focused work. That is why there is a growing need for a location-based, analog tool—something physical and intentionally placed to gently prompt self-care without adding to digital overwhelm.Idea:Me-mo is a tangible, analog reminder tool designed to gently encourage mindful breaks through small, satisfying rituals. Users spin to select a self-care activity, complete a work task, and insert a sun chip as a symbol of progress—earning a “me-moment” after each cycle. Made from transparent acrylic and 3D-printed parts, its soft wave design brings a sense of calm and lightness to any desk.Impact:By embedding self-care into daily routines in a playful yet intentional way, me-mo helps users develop healthier work habits, reduce stress, and maintain mental clarity. It turns moments of pause into an achievement—making rest feel just as valuable as work.
