Para Po (Stop Please)“Para Po” is what passengers tell jeepney drivers to politely ask them to stop the vehicle at their stop. Although a jeepney doesn’t always provide the most comfortable rides, it is a culturally significant form of transportation for Filipinos. They are being phased out for modern vehicles, ironically taking away the comfort from nostalgia from past, present, and future generations of Filipinos.
